sunday project …
viel spaß und einen schönen sonnigen sonntag.
(ich geh jetzt wieder auf den balkon)
- one sound a week - today:”caveSomething”
i’m one week late but the upload happens earlier than ever …
last time i promised a monster-sound and i hope you like this one. it’s probably more of a lion-thing but anyway.
it is made of the same recording the last sound was made of … well other editing and effects of course. and repitching and so on.
i’m thinking about changing the policy for future sounds. up to now i uploaded soundscapes of one minute length wich is cool but constricting too. so i will upload shorter or longer sounds or a c3-note played with one of my homegrown patches for abletons operator synth and so forth.
so i hope, all this is to your liking.
any questions? well, i’m sure you’ll find a way to get in touch :)
- one sound a week - today: “impact”
a recording and extensive use of effects again … delay and reverb mainly and on top a resonator, erosion and loads of boost on the low frequencies.
what else to say … there will be no sound next week because i’ll playing a gig in karlsruhe and wil be on my way back on sunday. but there’ll be some monster sound the week after. so, beware!
- one sound a week - today: “beetleParade”
early morning (at least for a sunday…) and the file is online.
this weeks sound’s called “beetleParade” in reminiscence of my wifes first associations … and that happened to be beetles parading.
it is generated by a synth and a sampled puls-wave. aside from a little delay, compression and a reverb there are no other modulating audio-effects added.
as always, everything done with ableton live.
- one sound a week - today: “rescue”
so i have put together another soundscape for the -one sound a week- project … this week i used abletons operator-synth and effects.
actually i started out completely different but got carried away by the rhythmic sound-pad that is faded in towards the end … such things happen i suppose when you take a shot in the dark ;)
maybe i should set a goal before i start … hm, note taken …
done for this week!
i probably start to work on next weeks soundscape right away as there will be little time the next days. so hopefully there will be sound earlier next week … or a little later
- one sound a week - today: “what’sThat,Captain?”
this weeks entry to the one-sound-a-week-project is a littel underwater-soundscape made without “watery” samples.
the basic underwater ambient sound (with a lot of traffic) was made from this weeks field recording taken in the supermarket. flippers creepy friends are made from a voice sample.
everything was put together in ableton live using sampler and the build in effects.
so, mission accomplished this week … :)
-one sound a week- this week: “mechanicalRhythm”
hey folks,
the first entry in my sketchbook is a audio-file of course …
it’s part one of a (hopefully) weekly series of soundscapes of one minute in length and experimental in experession … yeah, you got to challenge yourself from time to time!
lets see how it goes
